This is our 2nd stay at Healing Springs and we absolutely love it! Anne has gone out of her way to accommodate us. We enjoyed the tranquillity of the small creek on the property, and the crickets chirping. We will definitely be back. We loved The Fern. It is very rustic. An amazing place.
My family of four adults ventured to Shatley Springs for a mini mountain retreat and came upon The Cabins at Healing Springs. This was our first time to this area of N.C. For our accommodations, we stayed in the Farmhouse up on the hill, nearly 1/2 a mile off the road. It was an old two-story house from around the late 1800s and we fell in love! The scenery of pastures filled with cows, rolling hills, and old charm was very relaxing. As an escape from the hustle and bustle of our hectic work lives, the lack of television service, radio, and Internet service didn't bother us one bit! We enjoyed one another's company and brought in a new day by playing board games and cards around the kitchen table. My family truly enjoyed this farmhouse and when I asked my children where our next trip would be, they said the Farmhouse. We will definitely be back .... great quality family time without social media interruptions!
We called during the busy holiday weekend to see if any rooms were available. Anne was nice enough to accommodate us at last minute in The Chipmunk. It was a very pleasant experience. We met some really great people, and enjoyed listening to the rain and the babbling brook. We are from the country, and this is a wonderful place to stay. For the ones who complained about spiders, what do you expect? You're in the country out in the woods. I loved the free range chickens. Anne is amazing and went out of her way to help us. We cannot wait to go back and stay again. I absolutely LOVED it!!!! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!
